Our business was founded on three core beliefs:

MEDIA INFLUENCE ARE HARMFUL TO RETURN

Today’s investment world is noisy and treacherous. The media loves to cover exciting new products, high-profile companies and sensational characters because doing so helps draw audience attention and improve their ratings and circulation. Also, many “investment experts” often present their market outlook and favorite stock picks in the media. We are skeptical of these stock market pundits as we see most of them as merely marketing professionals, not good investors.

MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT WIRED TO BE GOOD INVESTORS

We believe that most people are not “wired” to be good investors. Our experience shows that most investors suffer from human behavioral biases. They make investment decisions that are too short termed and based on recent price movement and news flow, instead of business fundamentals, figures, and probability. Many investors often chase high-flying stocks with euphoria when the market is going up and then sell in panic when the market is volatile or going down. Overriding these behavioral biases is difficult for most people including professional investors. We help our clients overcome these biases to achieve long term financial independence through goal-based asset allocation, portfolio management and on-going communications.

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE FOR ALL

We believe that Wall Street quality financial advice should not be limited to professional investors. Our goal is to provide our individual clients with Wall Street quality financial advice at Main Street prices.
